EC&BS hosts benefits fair

Employee Compensation & Benefits Services hosted its 14th annual Benefits Fair on Oct. 13 in the Memorial Union.

The Benefits Fair is an event held each year to give UW employees an opportunity to meet face-to-face with representatives from the various benefit program providers. More than 30 vendors participated in this year’s fair including Tax-Sheltered Annuity and Deferred Compensation vendors, Health and Life Insurance vendors, and representatives from the Employee Reimbursement Account Program. Dane County Health Insurance companies also provided a variety of health assessments and information about healthy living. In addition, EC&BS sponsored free educational sessions about the Wisconsin Retirement System, Social Security benefits at retirement, creating an investment strategy and integrative medicine.

The vendors and UW Athletics donated several door prizes this year.
