WAA invites UW students to tailgate with Bucky

Bucky’s running for president during Homecoming 2004 and, for the first time ever, the Wisconsin Alumni Association (WAA) invites all students to join in the fun at the Badger Huddle on Saturday, Oct. 23, before the Wisconsin vs. Northwestern football game.

To sweeten the deal, Bucky’s offering a special discounted Huddle ticket price to UW–Madison students – his favorite constituents.

WAA’s Huddle is part of the weeklong “Bucky for President” Homecoming celebration and takes place at the UW Field House, beginning two-and-one-half hours before kickoff.

The Homecoming Huddle features appearances by Bucky, as well as ambassadors from the UW Spirit Squad and members of the UW Marching Band.

Attendees will fill up on Wisconsin-style tailgate fare before the big game and have the chance to win raffle prizes. Every admission supports one of Bucky’s favorite causes: the WAA Matching Dollar Scholarship Fund for UW–Madison students.

UW–Madison students can purchase Huddle tickets for a special discounted price of $13 (normally $16) at the WAA office, 650 N. Lake St. Huddle tickets will be available for $16 on the day of the event.
