Arboretum native plant sale May 8

May 3, 2004

More than 100 varieties of woodland and prairie plants, and shrubs, will be sold by the Friends of the Arboretum on Saturday, May 8, at the Arboretum, 9 a.m.-2 p.m.

All plants are native to the area and are propagated, meaning they are not dug up from the wild.

Experts will be on hand to answer questions about landscaping with native plants, and each type of plant comes with an information sheet detailing how to care for it.

Proceeds support the Arboretum. Friends of the Arboretum receive a 10 percent discount.
