Marshall Field’s head to lecture

Linda Ahlers, 1972 alumna and president of the Marshall Field’s division of Target Corp. in Minneapolis, will deliver the annual School of Human Ecology Retail Lecture on Thursday, Feb. 26, at 4:30 p.m. in the Fluno Center. This free program is targeted to students interested in retail careers.

On Friday, Feb. 27, Ahlers will present a public lecture, “Conscientious Commerce: Community Giving and Corporate Success,” at the Fluno Center. Ahlers will discuss corporate philanthropy and retail successes that contributed directly to community strength and growth. The 5:30 p.m. lecture in Howard Auditorium, Fluno Center, follows a 4:30 p.m. reception. The cost is $30. Register online. (Click on “Register for Events.”)
