Center seeks artwork

January 27, 2004

The Women’s Studies Research Center is seeking to display faculty and student artwork with relevance to women’s issues.

The center, 108 Ingraham Hall, will consider framed, ready-to-hang, two-dimensional art work. Limited space is available to display smaller three-dimensional art objects.

Artwork will be exhibited for eight weeks and recognized in the WSRC Web site, newsletter and bulletin.

To apply, the artist should provide four to six slides of her or his work, title, a statement outlining how the work relates to women’s issues and a brief bio.

This is an ongoing process that has no submission deadline. Information: wsrc@uwmadmail.services.wisc.edu, 263-2053.
