University Bay Drive to re-open

Late this afternoon (Friday, Sept. 19), University Bay Drive between Lake Mendota Drive and the Goodman Softball Complex will be re-opened to traffic. The roadway has been closed since Aug. 18 for reconstruction.

However, work on the shoulders and landscaping continues, which will reduce traffic to one lane in work areas over the next week. Drivers and bicyclists are advised to use caution and be on the lookout for flag persons and other traffic control measures that will be provided to help them navigate those areas.
