Nearly 50 students, domestic and international, came together to share a Thanksgiving meal during a Friends-Giving dinner at the Memorial Union Tuesday. The event, hosted by the Wisconsin Union Directorate Global Connections committee, included food, turkey-themed crafts and a bit of karaoke singing.

People have been making turkey cutouts with their hands since time immemorial, but it was a new experience for some of the Friends-Giving participants.

All the trimmings of a traditional Thanksgiving meal were served, including bourbon roast turkey, gingersnap mustard glazed ham, sage stuffing, sweet potatoes with marshmallows, homemade cranberry orange relish, and fudge bottom pie.
