Terrence R. Dolan inaugural lecture
Guinevere Eden, a professor of neuroscience at Georgetown University, will deliver the inaugural Terrence R. Dolan lecture, a series honoring the 20-year Waisman Center director who retired last summer.
Eden’s talk addresses “Functional Brain Imaging Studies of Reading and Reading Disability” and begins at noon on Friday, March 14 at the center, 1500 Highland Ave. The lecture and reception afterwards are free and open to the public.
The new lecture series will feature outstanding scholars whose presentations relate to the center’s mission of advancing knowledge about human development, developmental disabilities or neurodegenerative diseases.
