Students placed American flags on the lower third of Bascom Hill Wednesday morning to commemorate the victims of the terror attacks on Sept. 11, 2001 in New York, Washington, D.C., and Shanksville, Pa. The sponsoring groups were the College Democrats, the College Republicans and the student organization VETS.
