Sciences career fair set for Jan. 27

The second annual Sciences and Life Sciences Career Fair will be held from 3-7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 27, in the Great Hall of Memorial Union.

The fair offers students a chance to meet and network with employers to learn about potential career opportunities. Organizations will be recruiting undergraduate, master’s, and Ph.D. students for internships and permanent positions. Workshops will be offered throughout the event to assist attendees in sharpening their career skills.

Visiting employers include Abbott Laboratories, Covance Laboratories, Epic Systems Corporation, EraGen Biosciences, Hendricksen, The Care of Trees, Medical College of Wisconsin, National Cancer Institute, the U.S. Navy, On Assignment – Lab Support, PanVera Corporation, the Peace Corps, Purina Mills, QUALITEMPS INC, Schreiber Foods Inc. and Science Magazine, among others.
