The School of Business has made the Financial Times’ annual list of the world’s top executive education providers for the first time.
In its May 28 business education section, the London-based Times ranked executive education programs throughout the world. UW–Madison was ranked 35th in the world (17th in the U.S.) in the publication’s overall ranking.
For custom executive education programs, UW–Madison was ranked 34th among the top providers in the world and 17th among U.S. schools. For open enrollment programs, Executive Education at the School of Business was ranked 41st, 20th among U.S. schools.
“We have always had a very strong program here, with ongoing core strengths in management, project management and finance, to name a few,” says Ted Beck, associate dean for executive education. “Our program has evolved over the past few years and includes significant custom training for specific companies and innovative courses in corporate governance, leadership and strategy. Now we’re starting to get national and international recognition, including our debut in the prestigious Financial Times rankings.”
