Light show tonight

The university is holding its biannual Outdoor Neon and Light Exhibition April 12-13 on Library Mall from dusk until midnight.

The exhibit is structured around sculpture that uses light as a medium. This year, participants include artists from Virginia Commonwealth University, Art Institute of Chicago, UW-Stevens Point and UW-Oshkosh among others.

The exhibition is attended by thousands of people each night. A raffle Saturday to raise money for the UW–Madison glass program offers prizes donated by participants and State Street businesses. A student glass sale also will be held throughout the event.
