Biden to hold Tuesday event at Gordon
Former Vice President Joe Biden will appear at a campaign event on the University of Wisconsin–Madison campus on Tuesday, Oct. 30.
Tickets are required for the event, which is organized by the Democratic Party of Wisconsin, to be held at Gordon Dining & Events Center from 9 to 11 a.m. Candidates set to appear include Sen. Tammy Baldwin, gubernatorial candidate Tony Evers, and lieutenant governor candidate Mandela Barnes.
Republican and Democratic candidates are crisscrossing the state in advance of the Nov. 6 election.
The first floor dining area of Gordon will remain open all day Monday; the second floor will be closed until after the event.
No street closings are expected. Those planning to attend should be aware that no bags of any kind (including purses and backpacks) will be allowed and there will be no bag storage on site. Attendees will also undergo airport-style security screening.
