The Homecoming RedTalk on Wednesday night featured choreographers Frank Gatson Jr. and Rebecca Arends, both UW–Madison graduates. Gatson Jr., who graduated from UW–Madison in 1980, is now a world-class choreographer and director who’s worked with Michael Jackson, Usher, Justin Timberlake, Rihanna and Beyonce. Arends graduated from UW–Madison in 2004, and she teaches dance at Drexel University and guest teaches at many other universities. The event was held by the Wisconsin Homecoming Committee in partnership with the Division of Diversity, Equity & Educational Achievement. Tickets are still available for the ReUnite: The ReUnion Experience Homecoming Concert this Friday, featuring Gatson, Arends, June’s Diary and The Band Bazaar.
