Tax help available to employees

Employee Compensation and Benefits Services provides a one-stop “2001 Tax Filing Information” Web site for tax filing information.

Information includes:

• Year-end tax statement information.
• Tax filing information for U.S. citizens, permanent residents (green card holders) and resident aliens.
• Links to Internal Revenue Service and Wisconsin Department of Revenue forms, publications and electronic filing options. Free electronic filing is only available to those with qualifying incomes.
• Non-resident alien tax filing information, including relevant links to the IRS and DOR forms and publications.
• Tax information and assistance, including phone numbers and Web site addresses.

The site will help employees get faster and more convenient access to information they need and also facilitate quicker filing and refunds.
