Alumni association opens online store

The Wisconsin Alumni Association has opened an online Alumni Store.

Brand-name merchants like Lands’ End, the Wisconsin Union and Sargento offer their Badger wares through the Alumni Store, where Wisconsin enthusiasts can find everything from sports apparel to authentic State Street brats.

WAA members get additional discounts on select products, and a portion of each sale from the Alumni Store benefits student scholarships, lifelong learning programs and alumni services offered by WAA.

“We’ve created the ultimate shopping experience for Wisconsin fans living across the country,” says Paula Bonner, president and CEO of the Wisconsin Alumni Association. “Now they can have a little piece of Madison delivered to their door.”

Shoppers can customize Lands’ End clothing with one of three University of Wisconsin logos, buy Terrace chair merchandise direct from the Wisconsin Union or order premium cheese from Sargento. Homecoming 2001 apparel, commemorative chairs and lamps, and Wisconsin Union store items can only be found at uwalumni.com.

The Wisconsin Alumni Association has been serving UW–Madison and its graduates since 1861. WAA provides an array of services, programs and benefits, including On Wisconsin, a quarterly alumni magazine; a national council to foster multicultural diversity; a career database program; and an extensive student relations program.
