Galleries seek art submissions

The Wisconsin Union Galleries seeks submissions for the 2002 exhibition season. The deadline is Oct. 5.

“We welcome all media and themes,” says Keely Orgeman, a member of the Wisconsin Union Directorate Student Art Committee, which manages the three galleries in the student union.

“Our galleries are highly visible spaces,” Orgeman says. “We are still discussing the dates for the exhibitions, so at this point, it’s wide open.”

Submissions must include eight to 10 slides of recent work, a resume, a brief artist’s statement and a self-addressed stamped envelope for returning slides. Send submissions to: Wisconsin Union Galleries – Art Committee, 507 Memorial Union, 800 Langdon St., Madison, WI 53706-1495.
