Alumni Association offers Hawaii basketball tour

The Wisconsin Alumni Association offers basketball fans a Hawaii tour package and a chance to cheer on the men’s basketball team at the 2001 Big Island Invitational Nov. 20-26.

“We are pleased to offer this special tour for basketball fans to one of the most beautiful places on Earth,” says Paula Bonner, president and CEO of WAA. “This is a great way for us to work with the Badger Basketball Boosters and help fans get to these games.”

Tour packages include three nights at the deluxe Outrigger Waikoloa Resort in Kona, three nights at the Hawaii Naniloa Resort in Hilo and a tournament pass for all games. Packages include optional airfare.

“The big island of Hawaii is a great place to visit in November,” says frequent WAA traveler Bob Lenz. “Plus, I am looking forward to seeing the newest Badgers in their first outing of the year.”
