Health services names Clearinghouse director

Kathryn Wolf has been named director of the Wisconsin Clearinghouse for Prevention Resources, a unit of University Health Services.

Wolf succeeds Carol Lobes, who recently retired. Lobes also served as UHS director of prevention services.

“This will be a very smooth transition as Kathy has been responsible for the day-to-day management of the clearinghouse for several years,” says Kathy Poi, UHS interim executive director. “She did an outstanding job in that role.”

Wolf’s background includes two years as associate director of the clearinghouse and 10 years as director of the UW–Madison Adolescent Alcohol/Drug Abuse Intervention Program. She holds a master’s degree in rehabilitation psychology and two undergraduate degrees in psychology and human development, with minor degree equivalents in Spanish and social work.
