Recent sightings: The Wisconsin Idea on tour
Forty UW–Madison faculty, academic staff and administrators are on a swing through the state known as the Wisconsin Idea Seminar. The five-day, annual event is a traveling study tour through various parts of Wisconsin, including the UW Emmons Blaine Dairy in Arlington (below). Participants will also visit Aldo Leopold’s shack near Baraboo, meet with the Wausau Area Hmong Mutual Association, learn first-hand about the School of the Arts in Rhinelander, and tour the Lac du Flambeau Indian reservation. Other stops include Great Lakes Kraut in Bear Creek, the Red Granite Correctional Institution, the Milwaukee Collegiate Academy and Marquette University.
