Four members of the UW–Madison faculty have been selected as Kavli Frontiers of Science fellows, and were invited to participate in the Kavli Foundation’s Frontiers of Science symposium.
Sponsored by the National Academy of Sciences and the Kavli Foundation, the symposium brings together outstanding young scientists to discuss exciting advances and opportunities in a broad range of disciplines.
Life sciences communication Professors Dominique Brossard and Dietram Scheufele, computer sciences Professor Shuchi Chawla and physics Professor Karsten M. Heeger attended the symposium, held Nov. 2 to 4 in Irvine, Calif.
Scheufele chaired the symposium’s Science Communication session, which included Brossard among its speakers.
