All three K9 teams will be participating and will be providing information about the unit and how to help support it. They will also have items to hand out to those who attend.
The senior member of the team, K9 Rex, and his partner Det. Shane Driscoll are scheduled to be at the East Madison store, 2110 S. Stoughton Road, from 3 to 5 p.m.
K9 Odin, the newest member of the unit, and his partner Sgt. Brent Plisch will be holding court at the Middleton store, 8311 University Ave., from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
K9 Casey and Sgt. Cherise Caradine will be at the Fitchburg store, 5350 King James Way, from noon to 2 p.m.
Last November, the department was given the opportunity to have food products for their K9 unit donated by Mounds.
