Police seek info on Lake Street beating, robbery

UWPD is looking for information about a beating and robbery early Sunday morning.

The attack involving a UW–Madison student happened shortly after bar time early Sunday morning in a parking lot at 408 N. Lake St.

The suspects are described as three or four males of Asian descent, all about 18 to 25 years old.

The victim was taken to a local hospital where he was treated and released.

Investigators believe that due to the incident occurring in a populated area of downtown, and because of the time when it occurred, there may be witnesses that could assist in the investigation.
