Big scoop: Employee Appreciation Ice Cream Social set for today, June 7
The annual Employee Appreciation Ice Cream Social, is scheduled for Tuesday, June 7, at 1:30 p.m. on Bascom Hill.

All UW–Madison employees are invited. It will continue until supplies run out. In the event of inclement weather, the event will be moved to the lobby of Birge Hall.
Take time to enjoy some delicious award-winning ice cream from the Babcock Dairy and mingle with your fellow employees from around the campus.
Bucky Badger greet and congratulate employees for the great work they do throughout the year. Members of the UW Marching Band have been invited to perform.
Several flavors of Babcock ice cream, sherbet and frozen yogurt will be served. Popsicles and other alternative treats will be available upon request for those with dietary restrictions.
In addition to the most popular ice cream flavors, you can sample the new UHS Berry Therapy, Chocolate Turtle, Chocolate Peanut Butter, and Mocha Macchiato. Chocolate Turtle is a super premium ice cream. The stabilizer used in the super premium mix is vegetarian.
Celebrity scoopers will include several of the university’s top administrators, deans and directors, who collectively contribute to help fund the event each year.
The eventis co-sponsored and organized by the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Administration and the Office of Human Resource Development.
If you work on the west or south side of campus, hop on the Route 80 or 85 Metro bus. The Route 80 bus stops across from Bascom Hill on Observatory Drive and the Route 85 bus will drop you off in front of the Memorial Union.
