Campus computing outage scheduled for Sunday

Campus computers users may not have access to network resources during a routine maintenance session scheduled for Sunday, Jan. 9, from midnight to 8 a.m.

During that time, the Network Services group at the Division of Information Technology (DoIT) will upgrade equipment and software, potentially affecting all network connectivity on campus.

As usual, the outage is not expected to last the full eight hours, but DoIT reserves the time to deal with any unforeseen events.

Services affected include NetID access, My UW–Madison, MyWebSpace, WiscMail and WiscMail Plus, WiscCal, ISIS, Shared Financials (SFS), and Learn@UW.
