People shop for bargains on new and used cross-country ski boots and related gear during first day of the two-day Hoofers 47th Annual Ski and Snowboard Resale at the Memorial Union on Dec, 4, 2010.

The Hoofer Ski and Snowboard Resale is the largest sale of its kind in the Midwest, and includes new items from several vendors, plus used items brought in from the general public.

This year’s event sold 4453 items and generated more than $380,000 in total revenue, with a 17 percent commission going to support Hoofer Alpine and Nordic competitive teams as well as the general Ski and Snowboard Club.
