Coming up on the Big Ten Network
The following UW–Madison programming is scheduled for the Big Ten Network in the coming weeks.
Tuesday, April 27
- Noon. “Office Hours:” UW–Madison political science professor Ken Goldstein hosts “Office Hours,” a half-hour weekly talk show. Political science professor Charles Franklin and communication arts professor Stephen Lucas , a historian of political rhetoric, discuss the recent phenomenon of the Tea Party rallies around the country.
- 12:30 p.m. “The Wheel:” a half-hour magazine-style program showcasing university stories reported on and hosted by students. Topics in this episode are student sexuality, hands-on learning in engineering, the Wiscontrepreneur Challenge and the Jump Around tradition.
- 7:30 p.m. “Office Hours:” features a rebroadcast of the analysis of the Tea Party movement.
Wednesday, April 28
- 3:00 a.m. “Wisconsin Reflections:” an interview show featuring prominent UW–Madison alumni and friends, is taped in front of a live audience. This episode features UW–Madison alumnus Neil Willenson, a communication arts graduate who started Camp Heartland, a charity that sponsors summer camp for kids with HIV/AIDS. His national camps have helped thousands of children across the country.
Tuesday, May 4
- Noon. A new episode of “Office Hours:” featuring Goldstein as the host of this half-hour talk show.
- 12:30 p.m. “100 years of ‘On, Wisconsin!’:” a half-hour documentary examines the history of UW–Madison’s popular fight song and what it means to alumni.
