Students in Counseling Psychology 105: Health, Community and Action, a course taught by Margaret Nellis, a lecturer in the School of Education, participate in a hands-on demonstration by guest presenter Micaela Sullivan-Fowler (center) in the lower level of the Crossing building, 1127 University Ave.
The demonstration was designed to teach students how to prepare healthy, locally grown foods, and was inspired by the UW’s Go Big Read initiative, which focused on Michael Pollan’s book “In Defense of Food.”
