OK Go to headline free All-Campus Party concert
The Wisconsin Alumni Student Board (WASB) welcomes the energetic and electric stylings of OK Go for its 2009 Badger Blowout Concert presented by the UW Credit Union.
Originally hailing from Chicago, OK Go broke onto the music scene in 2002 with their self-titled debut album, followed by 2005’s critically acclaimed “Oh No.” The nationally touring pop/rock band is most famous for its wildly popular YouTube hit featuring the band in an intricately choreographed treadmill routine set to their hit single “Here It Goes Again.”
The 2009 ACP Badger Blowout Concert presented by the UW Credit Union will be held on Friday, April 24, at the Overture Center for the Arts. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the first performance begins at 8 p.m. Supporting acts include We The Living, The Nod and the 2009 All-Campus Idol Winner.
Free ticket vouchers will be available to University of Wisconsin–Madison students on a first-come, first-served basis at the UW Credit Union on State Street beginning at 9 a.m. on Monday, April 13. One voucher will be distributed per valid UW–Madison ID, which students may then redeem for reserved tickets at the Overture Center on April 24 starting at 4 p.m. Visit this site for more information on ticketing and the concert.
The ninth annual All-Campus Party is a cost-free, alcohol-free celebration created by the Wisconsin Alumni Student Board. The festivities begin on Saturday, April 18, and continue through Friday, April 24. All-Campus Party and the Badger Blowout Concert would not be possible without the support of ASM and the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Visit this site for a complete list of All-Campus Party events, times and locations.
WASB is a student organization of the Wisconsin Alumni Association (WAA) focused on linking students past, present and future through a variety of activities that have one centralized focus: celebrating UW–Madison and its alumni. WAA membership dollars support WASB and ACP.
