Governor reflects on the Big Ten Network
Wisconsin Gov. Jim Doyle will be the featured guest on the upcoming airing of “Wisconsin Reflections” on the Big Ten Network at 4 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 12.
UW-Madison alumnus and Emmy award-winner John Roach hosts the hourlong program that looks at the governor’s political career, his family and the condition of politics both statewide and nationally.
Doyle received his undergraduate degree in history at UW–Madison in 1967. Before heading off to Harvard Law School, he and the first lady spent two years in Tunisia in the Peace Corps. He was Wisconsin’s attorney general for 12 years before being elected governor in 2002. The program was taped recently, just after Doyle returned from the presidential inauguration celebration in Washington, D.C.
The Big Ten Network is carried on Dish Network channel 439, Direct TV channel 610 and Charter cable on channel 73, along with multiple other cable companies in Wisconsin.
