No students injured in fraternity house fire
A major fire destroyed the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity house at 237 Langdon St. in the early hours of Tuesday, May 13.
The house was evacuated and no University of Wisconsin–Madison students were hurt, although one Madison firefighter suffered minor injuries.
The Offices of the Dean of Students and American Red Cross Badger Chapter responded to the scene and will work to provide assistance and temporary shelter to the students, as well as accomodations with final exams and papers.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time. According to Berquam, 28
residents lived in the Sigma Phi Epsilon house.
