On that day, 31-year-old Madison resident Joel Marino was found fatally stabbed in an alley just off the 700 block of South Park Street, near West Shore Drive.
Madison Police are searching for a suspect, described as a white man, possibly in his 20s with a thin build, 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet 2 inches tall and with blond or light brown hair.
The man was last seen wearing a tan, Carhart-type jacket and a white stocking cap with a red Motion W on the front. In addition he was carrying a gray, new looking backpack.
