Details on Bill Clinton’s ‘Solutions For America’ campaign event

People planning to attend former President Bill Clinton’s political rally for presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, expected to begin at approximately 2:30 p.m. on Thursday (Feb. 14), should keep in mind several important details:

Entry: The event will be held at the historic Stock Pavilion, 1675 Linden Drive. The event is free and no tickets are required. Doors will open at 1:30 p.m. The building capacity is between 1,500 and 2,000 people. Those planning to attend are asked to dress warmly in the event of lines. Seating is first come, first served.

What to bring: For safety and security reasons, certain items are prohibited, including laptop computers, backpacks and large bags or large purses. In addition, no posters of any size will be permitted inside. No food or drink will be allowed. Cameras and video cameras will be permitted inside.

Parking: Daytime parking is extremely limited around the Stock Pavilion. Attendees from the campus community are encouraged to use the Number 80 campus bus. A limited number of meters are available in Lot 17 and Lot 93.

Media: Transportation Services personnel will be on site to assist broadcast media trucks with parking. Credentials will be given at the door.

Building history: Bill Clinton will be the fourth American president to give an address in the historic Stock Pavilion. Presidents before him were William Howard Taft, Theodore Roosevelt and Harry Truman.
